Paul Middleton helped form the Christian Coalition of Washington in1993. He has been politically active for many years, serving on both state and national convention rules committees for the Republican Party. Paul is retired from the Department of Licensing and attends Sunbreak Baptist Church in Lacey. Paul and his wife, Judy, have been married 50 years and have two children and three grandchildren. Judy is Nurse Manager at CareNet.

Executive Director

Rick Forcier assumed his current duties with the Christian Coalition in 1998. He also chairs the Thurston County Jail Ministry Advisory Board, and is a founding board member of the Daniels’ Prayer Ministry in Olympia.  Previously, Rick served as Chairman of the Rainier Education Foundation, and enjoyed three terms as Chairman of the Thurston County Republican Party. He and his wife Jill have been married 48 years, have three children, six grandchildren and are longtime members of True Grace Church in Lacey, where Rick teaches an adult Bible class called “Understanding the Times.”

George Gauntlett, a onetime educator and longtime member of Bellevue Presbyterian Church retired from The Boeing Company in 2007 with 23 years of service. George and his wife Marilyn, a retired music teacher, currently reside in Olympia where they are both active in the First Baptist Church of Olympia. The Gauntletts have been married 47 years and enjoy the frequent company of their two children (and their husbands) and five grandchildren.
